If you’re serious about putting in the work needed to create a creditable business then I would suggest checking into affiliate marketing for a simple starting point.

Don’t get me wrong, affiliate marketing takes work, but really all you need is a loyal fan base and then refer products to them. Start a blog, build a huge following through social media such as Twitter, Youtube, and so on, then set up a free account through http://www.clickbank.com The people on this site supply everything for you to sell their products and some people make a lot of money just using social media and Clickbank (no website or blog needed).

If you’re hard up for cash then you might also look into an Ebay / Craigslist business or maybe even drop-shipping.

For the most part, it takes time to make a substantial amount of money online but if you’re willing to stick it out then you won’t need to go out and turn in resumes.
