it should never be ...
it should never be about the money but the art ,thats why the 60s produced great experimental music because the big fat cats had that entrepaurnerial spirit of who knows = even if you dont like or understand what the record is whats coming in the door, the person in the executive chair may not be the total arbitor of taste of the intire population. And these s like simon cowell are deciding and brainwashing young adults and producing banility of the highest order.

like frank zappa ...
like frank zappa said "we were better of in the 60s with the cigar chomping old guys who saw the product in front of them and said "who knows" put it out if it sells it sells. In this day and age the so called "hip young record executives" or head ceo's are deciding what people should see and hear in the market place, these guys are more dangerous to the art form that the old guys ever were andrew is so clever and logical its only about 1 percent who get big but what is big? commercial success?

I'm a computer drafter now, how boring. Great show.
