cost money to view internet on phone?
i’m with rogers (in canada) and i own a blackberry. i have free blackberry messaging and e-mail, but no internet plan. if i view webpages via a link in an e-mail (for example, facebook) does it cost money for me?
Yes, anytime you access the internet from your phone you will be charged for it. I’m not sure what the pay per use charge for Rogers customers is but with AT&T it’s 1 penny per KB.

viewing ANY webpages requires data. if your not paying monthly for your data your either very very lucky or you wil be charged for the data usage. that is why verison in america makes its blackberry users have a data plan.

All blackberry plans state side require data. On the 3G network that Rogers runs they separate out e-mails and net usage. (I’d love to know how they do that) But because of this they don’t have to have a data plan on a blackberry that is set up for e-mail ONLY! So if you use data there is an extra charge. usually billed by the kilobyte.
