What like a flexible schedual? Babysitting is great for that. Lol. I get $10 an hour, for one kid and $17 an hour for two kids, depending on the weath in the area you babysit in (i babysit in the town next to mine, and its a weathy town, so really depends where and for who how much you can get paid) And you are never forced to work!!! Lol. Work when you want, and make up some lame excuse if you dont want to work. lol.

I mean, pastoring is supposed to be a gift from God. So is prophecy, tongues etc. So, if a pastor can charge for ‘his’ services, then, theoretically, a prophet could charge for revealing what was revealed to him by God. Likewise, a person gifted in service/helps could charge for their work. Isn’t it wrong to charge money for these things?
I know in the OT priests were put up by the people, but our pastors are not OT priests. Our pastors do not have daily obligations at a temple. Only one our a week they are obligated to be at church (or wherever they hold their services).

What New Testament Scipture is there to back up the practise of paying modern-day pastors??
The Apostle, even though a person has a job outside the church does NOT mean that they don’t have their full attention on God. Someone could be working a long hard day, doing their job well, and still be focused on God and pleasing Him.
Wow, you guys are missing part of the question here. Pastors are only OBLIGATED TO BE AT CHURCH Sunday morning. Yes, they do other stuff that preach for an hour, but they don’t have to be IN THE BUILDING, AKA AT CHURCH, to do them. And other people can do that stuff too.

Frankly, I like your second option.
I think that preaching the Word of God is a privilege, and nobody ought to be paid for it. Those who are chosen to preach ought to do it gladly, knowing that their reward is greater than any paycheck. Their treasure is in heaven.
Freely you have received, the Bible tells us, freely you ought to give.
Pastors should have daily obligations, however,. They should be visiting the sick, for instance…but they should be doing it on their own time, not being paid for it. And they often put in some serious time preparing their message, or sermon. Again, this should be a labor of love. There should be no obligation to pay to hear God’s Word.

And there is another way of looking at this situration. As Jesus warned, you cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God and money.
When a Pastor takes a salary, the problem is that the people who pay you become your "boss". Suppose you are a Pastor who preaches in a church where there has been a great deal of divorce (for instance). You might be afraid to preach a sermon that deals with the issue of divorce, because you would not want to offend the people who buy your groceries. It’s called "itching ears"…and the Pastor who depends on a paycheck is obliged to scratch where the congregation itches, if he wants to continue to earn his money

The Pastor who works an outside job for a living is free to preach whatever God moves him to preach, with no fear of offending his paying audience.

You can try your 24 hour grocery stores. They always seem to be wanting part time help (at least here) if you are willing to work night shifts. I would, as that wouldn’t bother me very much as long as it isn’t too often. Also, if you have anything laying around the house you wouldn’t believe what sells on Ebay. You can make decent money with Ebay too. I do that as well. Are you a decent baker? I make a fabulous cheesecake that I have taken to restaurants, first one is free and then leave my info and they order from me.

longest list of jobs wins! and it has to be odd jobs like chores and babysitting and stuff, no long term jobs!

Culver’s minimum hiring age is 14 with a workers permit.
I called many stores because I am 14 looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long.

Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring.

What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at.
Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

Sometimes jobs just aren’t out there ,so we look for other money making alternatives. This may include selling items or the old fashioned babysitting service.

1. Babysitting Service
Babysitting is one of the most widely know tactics for making money. The trouble is finding people who need your service. These are a couple of ways to increase business.
Make babysitting flyers using the computer and put them in the library, newspaper ads, next to mailboxes, and grocery stores. On the flyer you want to put your name, number, rate, service hours, and ages you provide care for.Drum up more business and keep a notebook to schedule when you do get a customer.

2. Garage Sales
Everyone has old junk they want to get rid of ,but they don’t want to waste time and risk getting scammed on ebay. Garage sales are a good way to get extra cash. Rummage through everything you own.You could also ask friends and family member to bring there old stuff. Their stuff could drawing in more people. Advertise your sale putting up flyers and posting ads in the paper and on Craigslist.

3.Lawn Service
Some think a lawn service is online a summer season thing that only includes mowing lawns. However, lawn services can include snow shoveling, lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, leaf raking, deck sweeping, planting, and window washing. Advertise putting flyer around your town, Craigslist, the paper, and door to door with a guardian during winter.

4.Tutoring
Some teens earn anywhere from $5 to $20 per hour tutoring. If you’re good at a subject, you may be able to earn money by helping others to understand it. Just advertise and let others know that your service is out there.

5. Selling Your Crafts
If you enjoy arts and crafts, you might make jewelry or other items and sell them — perhaps on eBay, where you’ll have instant access to a large customer base. Some painters and photographers are making money selling their work online, too, although that can be harder to do.

6. Pet Sitting/Walking
Typically more of a summer business when people tend to go on vacation, but you might be able to have a year-round business by offering pet walking, bathing, cleaning, etc. services.

7. Website Designing
Many local businesses maybe starting up. Some however don’t have website and don’t know how to set them up and create great pages.
