Yea totally. Last time I went I was old enough to drink and gamble, I got food and paid for taxis and I only spent like $250.

You need cleared funds for whatever you are trying to buy. Normally you get a bit of an overdraft with a bank account which varies, so say you had a £100 in the bank and £100 overdraft, you could buy something for up to £200.

Hi you dont say how old you are and where abouts in florida you are going but as a rule of thum i would take £1000 to cover food, transport, Entertainment,and just having a good time
