want to do most the parks etc
all flights car and hotel are already paid for, this is just spending money….
For 2 weeks, you have to consider that you don’t have park tickets. That will cost you the most.
- A base ticket at Disney costs $79 for ages 10+. It costs $68 for kids 3-9. The more days you spend at Disney, the less it will cost per day. Let’s say you want a 5 day Disney park hopper, it will cost $45.60 per day. So lets put aside say $900 for 5 days worth of Disney tickets.
- Universal is slightly cheaper, but right now the prices are raised to $99 for the 2 park 1 day deal until the end of the value season. Usually it is $84. When my family went, it cost roughly $107 per person (including tax) for the 2 park 1 day .. which is all you need to do Universal. So let’s say around $600 to do Universal. To save on food, you can get a dining plan for the day. You can eat a couple of meals for $23.99 per person for the 2 park 1 day pass for ages 10+ , $11.99 for 9 and under. It’s at a few selected restaurants but its a good deal.
- Sea World is 74.95 for an adult, 64.95 for children 10 and under. If you buy online you can get the 64.95 for both adults and children.
- So if you do all the parks, it will cost some major $$$. You also have to factor in food. If you can, try and make meals if you are staying at a rental house (like we do.. we buy our own groceries) . Try eating at Buffets (you get more bang for your buck so to speak) like Golden Corral, Cici’s Pizza Buffet.. Also, there are tons of chain restaurants like Olive Garden, TGI Friday’s, Outback, etc. It all depends on how much your willing to spend. You also have to factor in regular spending money. I would say $75 per person if you just want park souvenirs. If not, it would depend on how much your going to shop.
Overall, I would probably bring $4000, $2000 for park tickets, the rest for food and spending money. Of course, you don’t have to do all the parks and go for all those days, I was just giving you a general outline of what your trip could look like. I hope this helps you out a bit!
