we have have 3 boys and the middle boy Jacob B Day is on the 24Th of this month also money is aside for hid b day. But no plans as of yet not sure what to do.
Its his big 30 so I would like him to remeber it. my 30th was last june and same situation no money. and nothing done but a nother day.fathers day was same weekend kids made him some thing in school. I got him a pack of cigs, cycle trader and a little play money toy.

One year I took photos of the kids and found a really nice song on the net. I think it was "Daddy don't walk to fast" or something like that. And surronded the song with the different pictures of the children and printed it out on regular paper then put the picture in a frame. You can get a frame from the dollar store. Or even consider having your kids make the frame out of things they can find such as beads, buttons, sea shells, etc….
Also, have the kids decorate by making their own streamers out of construction paper. They can make their own party hats out of construction paper too and if you are a seamstress, check your sewing kit to see if you have any elastic for keeping the hats on your heads. Don't have contruction paper? Drag out those Christmas lights and decorate the wall or ceiling around the table.
You can bake your own cake. If you can't afford to buy a cake mix. Go to your local food bank. They usually have cakes and/or cakes mixes and icing. You just need to ask for it and tell them it is for your husband's birthday. (I have had to actually do this before. They are very kind and helpful. They even gave me a box of stuff that had party supplies in it like candles and balloons and paper plates/cups/napkins)
Find an old white sheet and let your children decorate with their crayola markers. They can draw balloons and other things all over it.
Find candles from all over your house and place them all over your table around your cake. Have your cake elevated on something so it really stands out. Turn the stereo on with his favorite song playing so when he walks in the door it is a happy feeling.
Cook him his favorite dinner.
Rent him his favorite movie.
As your gift to him,
Write out 30 great things that you love about him…..

We sent my nieces some money, but they’re both under eighteen. They don’t have a driver’s license or anything, so how do you send money to kids through the mail and them be able to cash it? The money-order wouldn’t do. I guess you have to be eighteen to cash a money-order.

I will be 13 in a week, I can't ask my parents because my dad already got me an expensive Cape Cod bracelet and my mom did her birthday shopping for me already. We notified my neighbors that I could babysit but they haven't asked me and we told them quite some time ago. I am selling something on my town website but I don't know if people will buy it (a FLY through spanish thing for 15$). I am returning some things I don't need. My mom will not pay me to do odd jobs around the house and since it's winter I can't mow the lawn or anything. I have 80$ right now but I need another 70 to get the iPod. Once I return those things I will have $122 but I still need to get to $150. We are waiting to get credit back from something I bought so that will add 25 dollars but until then how can I (I am 13) make money really really fast?
since its winter, maybe go around the neighborhood asking if they need you to do jobs for them, like walking dogs, babysitting, and more. it might be cold, but try having a carwash at a local gasoline place. G00D LUCK!

Heres the thing, my wife and I have 760-780 credit scores and she currently has a barely 6 figure income job that is as secure as anything out there right now.
